Oil, Butter, or Bacon Fat                                4 TBSP

Red onion (diced)                                           2 TBSP

Green Onion (chopped)                                2 TBSP

Red Pepper (diced)                                        2 TBSP

Green Pepper (diced)                                    2 TBSP

Garlic (minced)                                               1 TBSP

Heavy Cream                                                  2 CUPS

Cajun Seasoning                                            1 TBSP

Tasso Ham (diced)                                         1 CUP

Parmesan Cheese                                          ½ CUP

Shrimp (peeled/deveined)                          20 EACH

 

 

Heat the oil, butter or bacon fat in a skillet over medium high heat until it starts to shimmer but not smoke. Sautee the onions and peppers for 1 minute and then add the garlic and Tasso ham. Continue to Sauté for 2 minutes and then add the heavy cream and Cajun seasoning. Reduce the sauce for a minute or 2, and then add the shrimp. Once shrimp is in the pan, lower the temp and simmer until the shrimp are fully cooked. Shouldn’t take more than 3-4 minutes.

I'll start this review by saying that I've had the worst day, and this place has made it so much better.  I arrived close to closing time, which I try never to do, but there aren't a lot of options in the area. They welcomed me with open arms. I tried to be nice to the kitchen, so I ordered the Anne salad with seared Tuna. Man, this was the best salad!!! It redeemed this awful day and made my mouth very happy. The glass of Pinot the server picked out for me made it happy too lol.  This place is fine dining in a relaxed environment and super reasonable prices.

Great place in downtown Florence for a delicious brunch at a great price! The atmosphere is very classy and quiet, the perfect place for a ladies brunch! Good selection of breakfast and lunch items, and the bar is available if you want something a little more than coffee or tea with your meal. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is delicious! Although Victor's may be a bit pricier at night, the brunch menu is very affordable and is a must if you are in Florence for a visit or as a local! Come by, you won't be sorry, but you will be satisfied!- SCgirl93

We Were looking for a nice sit down restaurant on a recent trip to South Carolina, and Victors was an excellent choice. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with Fried Oysters which were prepared perfectly with a light crispy breading. My husband had a Ribeye with the whiskey caramelized onions which were a nice change from more typical toppings.. I had the pan roasted black bass at the suggestion of our waiter, and I was glad I took his advice. The fish was prepared perfectly: moist with a crispy skin, Take the time for a delicious dinner in a relaxing atmosphere.
