Victors is seeking self-driven and reliable candidates to join our team of hospitality professionals. Experience is preferred but not necessarily required. Due to our steady growth we are looking to expand. This includes but is not limited to the positions of: Line Cook, Prep Cook, Cater/Banquet Chef. We offer flexible schedules (full/part-time), competitive wages and seasonal positions.
Greeting guests promptly and providing a knowledgably experience. Ensuring that the server stations are adequately stocked with tableware, napkins, and condiments. Working together with the kitchen for a seamless flow. Must be able to multi-task and excel under pressure.
Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc. Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc. Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
A banquet chef oversees banquet meals for a restaurant or catering company. Their job duties include requesting supply orders and preparing the meal. They work closely with our Banquet Director on selection and other aspects of the dinner.
A Host or Hostess welcomes guests and makes them feel cared for, and valued. They create a warm and welcoming environment for patrons from the moment they enter the establishment. Hosts or Hostesses typically provide menus, take names for reservations and answer the phone.
